Ok soo0o...finally this whole thing is over. Odysseus returned to Ithica, alone, just me and him. It was great, after we search for food and wine we got down to business. We dressed up as a beggar and went into the castle. Penelope had came up with a task for the suitors to complete in order to be her husband and the new King of Ithica. Of coarse they all had failed and Odysseus had fooled them all by completeing the stunt with great ease. Everyone had doubt in him. So after he won over his wife, again, he took off the disguise and revealed his true identity. Noone could believe it, you should have seen the look on all their faces. They were so socked that after 20 years Odysseus had returned, well and healthy. He scorned everyone for what they had done to his hometown and for being so naive to think that Penelope would actually marry one of them and allow them to take his place as King. Then with one arrow he shot the lead suitor right in the throat as blood and wine poured out violently Odysseus smile with satisfaction. And as he threatened the rest of the men for their life they all begged and pleaded. But Odysseus had no mercy, he was King and he was going to show them what a powerful King he really was. They all fought for their life but of coarse none of them were able to defeat Odysseus. Hes a hero. He killed them all. And then to prove to Penelope that he truly was her husband he told her that the bed that he had made with his own two hands was able to be moved. Penelope then knew it was true. Odysseus had returned to Ithica after 20 long eventful years. So for those of you who have never heard the story, you never knew why Odysseus was my hero, now you know. He went through all of these struggles, just to make it back to his wife and his hometown. Odysseus is and will forever be my hero!!
